The Italian Heritage Parade & Festa Grand Marshall Award is intended to honor an individual who provides outstanding service to the Italian American Community of St. Louis, the St. Louis Metropolitan area and the United States. Nominees should be someone who is well known outside of the Italian American community and would bring added attention to The Hill neighborhood.
The selection of nominees is not limited to members of The Hill and need not be of Italian descent.
● Nominations must be submitted in writing or emailed to The Hill 2000 Neighborhood Center. Nominations should include a detailed biography indicating the accomplishments of the individual and the reason(s) that this individual is recommended for this award.
● A digital photograph of the nominee should accompany the nomination application.
● The committee may disqualify any recommendation that does not meet these requirements.
● Selections will be made, and winners notified no later than September 15th.
● The selection of the committee will be final, and more than one recipient may be awarded.
● Recipients will participate in the Italian Heritage Parade & Festa Parade and will be recognized on stage at Festa.
● All materials submitted become the property of the Italian Heritage Parade & Festa Committee and The Hill Neighborhood Association.
● Nominations for this award will be accepted beginning August 1st through September 8th. Nominations submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
